Meet Jan Dvorak, our esteemed team member at the dive shop, bringing over 15 years of unparalleled expertise in underwater crime scene investigation. With a passion for diving that's matched only by their dedication to public safety, Jan holds the highest level of dive certification, including specialized training in technical public safety diving. As a valued member of the Houston County Rescue Team, Jan has honed their skills in swift and effective underwater response, making them an invaluable asset in any aquatic scenario. Meet Walter Elliott, our legendary dive master who seems to have discovered the fountain of youth underwater! With a whopping 200 years of experience under his belt (or should we say, wetsuit?), Walter brings a depth of knowledge and a treasure trove of stories to every dive excursion. Rumor has it, he's been exploring the ocean depths since before scuba gear was even invented! But don't worry, Walter may have been around for centuries, but his sense of humor is as fresh as the ocean breeze. So, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned diver, diving with Walter guarantees not just an adventure, but also a dive into the depths of time and laughter.

Meet George Masciarelli our Dive Master from New England. Until he was 22 the only time he was in water up over his head was a swimming pool. After moving to Homestead AFB he learned to snorkel and explored under every bridge between Miami and Key West. He learned to scuba dive in Saudi Arabia and had 80 shore dives before he returned to the USA. George enjoys helping people to develop new skills, and add to their experiences.  He is continuing to develop his own skills in cavern, wreck and night diving.

Meet Brian Downer a retired Air Force Veteran of more than 22 years.  While serving in the military he pursued various hobbies, but none can compare to his Love of the Water and Scuba Diving. His GI Bill benefits served invaluable, as he was able to use it to obtain his Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Open Water Instructor certifications. Brian learned how to navigate the GI Bill process through the VA program. He is eager to assist you in doing the same. His passion is teaching Scuba Diving. When Brian is not teaching you will often find him 80 - 100 feet underwater spearfishing. He feels everyone should have the opportunity to discover what lies beneath the surface of our beautiful Gulf waters. Come check it out with us…You will not be disappointed!

Jeff Garrett is a seasoned dive instructor with over 30 years of experience in the diving industry. With a passion for underwater exploration and a wealth of knowledge, Jeff has trained countless divers, from beginners to advanced. He now brings his expertise to Dive Locker in Panama City, where he is dedicated to providing top-notch diving education and fostering a love for the ocean in his students.
